Implant surgery may sound scary, but you have nothing to worry about. It’s a quick, outpatient procedure carried out after numbing your mouth to ensure the treatment is painless.

After implant placement, your doctor inserts abutments on each implant. Abutments are connectors that attach your implant to your restoration. Then, we install a temporary denture above the abutments to ensure you use your smile as your implants heal.

Your implants need a few weeks to heal completely. However, you require 4-6 months for your implants and jawbone to integrate through osseointegration. Fusion prevents further jawbone loss and ensures your implants form a solid foundation to support your denture.
